I'm off to the living room too. Hope that the tragic news on the luge course doesn't overshadow the opening ceremonies. I feel for that man's family and friends.
Kathy,
Enjoy the Olympics. I guess, I need to get off of here and watch them also.
Kathy...
I love the Olympics, the parade of nations is always something that I enjoy because that's where all of the participants have a chance to be recognized!
Kathy - I kept switching between CTV and NBC whenever there were commercials. Unfortunately, many times both networks decided to have commercials at the same time.
Kathy,
I enjoyed the opening ceremonies very much...especially the aboriginal part. I sure hope the weather improves for them!
Jo
Kathy, you write great headlines! My first thought was, "oh, how wonderful!" My second thought, when I realized you were curling up to watch on TV was, "oh, how wonderful!"
Rick - I was pleased that they held a moments silence for him and that his team mates are going to continue
Ron - I hope you enjoyed the opening as much as I did
Richard - I think it's great that you feel twinned with Vancouver as a result of the Olympics
Marc - LOL - you sound like a buyer who has trouble deciding which agent to use. :-)))
Jo - It was very colourful well done and extremely enjoyable to watch ... they seemed to dance on forever and of course you could feel the rhythm of the drums start to move you.
GO CANADA GO !!!!!
Lottie - and indeed is was wonderful!!!
Great headline!!!! You caught me!
Great opening..
Kathy,
As we watched the pageantry of the opening ceremonies for the Winter Olympics, I commented to Ginny "Canada did a much better job with this than did China." You have reason to be proud!

Mike - we really enjoyed the opening ... there were some fantastic vignettes depicting our history and heritage
